CHENNAI: The Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy will start two diploma courses from the current academic year.

An official release stated that the courses -- Integrated Pharmacy and Nursing Therapy – would have a duration of two years and six months of in-house training.

The qualification would be Plus-II with science subjects. The courses would be conducted at the Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai, and the Government Siddha Medical College at Palayamkottai in Tirunelveli. Applications are available at both the institutions.

: Applications for admission to Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy course and Diploma Nursing Therapy courses for 2009-10 will be issued till 3 p.m. on August 25.

A press release from the Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy issued on Monday stated that the filled-in applications would be received till 5 p.m. on August 25.
