ADMISSIONS 2009-2010


MTech (Computer Science and Engineering)

Eligibility: BTech / BE in Computer Science and Engineering/IT /ECE/ EE related disciplines MCA / MSc (CS) / MSc(IT) also eligible.

Master of Computer Application (MCA)

Eligibility: Graduation in any stream with Maths as one of the subjects either at Graduation or 10+2 level.


MTech (Digital Communication)

Eligibility: BTech or equivalent in Electronics and Communication or related area. MSc (Electronics) also eligible.

MTech (Thermal Engineering)

Eligibility: BE / BTech in ECE/CSE/EE and related branch.


Bachelor of Architect (BArch)

Eligibility:
1. The candidate should have passed an examination at the end of new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate examination or equivalent with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate.
2. NATA Test clearence i,e 40% or above score. No student without qualifying NATA Test will be registered as an Architect by Council of Architecture after graduation in Architecture. By Council of Architecture New Delhi.


Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)

Eligibility:
Should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination with Physics and Chemistry, as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study with at least 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Those appearing in 10+2 may also apply.

NRI Seats: Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI's who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: Graduation in any stream with a valid MAT score


BTech (CSE)

Eligibility: Student should have passed 10+2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Bio Technology/Computer Science/Biology.

NRI Seats:- Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI's who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.


Admission Procedure:

The admission to the MTech Program would be made on the basis of the valid Gate score of the candidates and incase of the unavailability of the GATE score holders the seats could be allotted on the basis of merit of B.E/B.Tech maintaining the minimum of 55% aggregate. The counselling for the 10 no. of General seats, 05 sponsored and 03 SC/ST would be held at the Institute purely on the merit basis.


Admission to sponsored category:

Candidate should have successfully passed the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Technology or equivalent from an AICTE approved Institute with at least 55% marks. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.
There will be no age restriction however preference would be given to those who are below 45 years of age.

A letter of the employer is to be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to get admission and also indicating that the candidate will not withdraw midway till full completion of course.

Admission To Non-Sponsored Category:
Admission to Full Time MTech Program for NOn-Sponsored Category would be made through GATE. On account of unavailability of GATE qualified canditates, admission may be given to non-GATE candidates on merit based on Graduation percentage.
For admissions, candidates need to register in the Institute latest by 30th June 2008 tentatively. Registration forms can be obtained from our Institute, Unison School of Law,DIT School of Engineering(Greater Noida) and our Delhi Corporate office or could be downloaded from www.dit.edu.in.

The registration fee is Rs 700 which is to be paid in the form of DD favouring DIT payable at Dehradun.
