NSS annual plan discussed

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Advisory Committee of Andhra University NSS wing held a meeting and discussed the programmes to be undertaken during the ensuing year. The annual plan was also framed.

Vice-Chancellor B. Satyanarayana released the NSS Annual Magazine 2008-09. Registrar P.V.G.D. Prasada Rao, NSS Regional Coordinator K. Rajendran, State Liaison Officer G. Bhaskara Rao, AU NSS Programme Coordinator P. Ramachandra Rao participated.

The NSS Training and Orientation Centre of AU completed its 91st training programme for NSS Programme Officers. Participating in the function Prof. Satyanarayana released a book "NSS Theory and Guidelines" written by former NSS Coordinator P.S. Dikshit and Prof. Ramachandra Rao. Coordinator of training centre N.A.D. Pal presided.

Meanwhile the NSS units of GVP Degree College commenced a special camp in AU campus to beautify the premises. One hundred boys and girls are participating in the programme. Rector U. Viplava Prasad inaugurated the camp. Principal of the college P. Raja Ganapathi, NSS POs M.F. Rehaman and G. Lakshminarayana and college faculty participated in the inaugural programme.
