Why were crowds gathered in the Indian village of Taregna

 Why were crowds gathered in the Indian village of Taregna, Bihar state, to watch a solar eclipse disappointed this week?
   
   A: Instead of the predicted total eclipse, only a partial eclipse was visible in Bihar
   
   B: Cloudy skies obscured the view
   
   C: The sun was barely visible through glasses provided for watching the spectacle
