Classes for Standard XI begin in Puducherry

Classes for Standard XI students of government higher secondary schools commenced on Monday. As many as 3,634 students have been admitted after counselling. There were a total of 5,039 seats in Class XI. Officials of the Directorate of School Education said that at the end of the counselling process, there were 1,405 seats vacant in Class XI at the government schools. Another round of counselling would be conducted once the results of supplementary examinations were published.
