Seminar held for MBA students

'Planning, dedication and perseverance needed to succeed in life'

Kakinada: Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management Science (RIMS) organised a seminar for MBA students and those aspiring to become future managers, at Rangaraya Medical College auditorium here on Saturday.

Participating as chief guest, P. Vijay Kumar, Director of School of Management Studies, JNTU-Kakinada, stressed the need for proper planning and analysis of situations to become successful professionals.

Dedication and perseverance were the other qualities to succeed in life.

J.V.C. Sreeram, CEO of AURA Leadership Foundation, Hyderabad, said management professionals were in high demand across the globe and it was up to the students to seize the opportunity. J.V. Murthy, Director of TIME, Visakhapatnam, said students need to improve their English language and communication skills and leadership qualities. He explained the difference between attributes and abilities and clarified students' doubts.

The resource persons gave valuable inputs on Web counselling, P.G colleges list and college codes to students.

KIET placement officer Y. Ramakrishna said the college was permitted to offer MBA course from this academic year with an intake of 60.
