9 dead as blasts rip through Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia

JAKARTA: Bomb blasts at two hotels in Jakarta's business district on Friday morning killed 9 people and injured 42, an Indonesian police official 
said.

The two bombs were at the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Kuningan, Jakarta.

Separately, the chief security minister Widodo A.S. said that the bombs contained high explosives.
