On-demand examination planned

BANGALORE: The Examination Reforms Committee has favoured a gradual shift from the conventional examination system to "on-demand" examination system.

Committee Chairman K. Chidananda Gowda said the examination should be held when the candidate is ready to appear for it rather than at the convenience of the system. "A small beginning can be made for students who could not appear for the regular examination because of serious health problems or an accident," he said.
