Preparing students to face challenges

Vignan Engineering College, which has turned into Vignan University, gave a glimpse of its expertise in imparting education in engineering and technological courses to a large gathering of B.Tech first year students and their parents on its premises at Vadlamudi near Guntur on Thursday.
Top institution

University chancellor Lavu Rathaiah welcomed the students and their parents to the inaugural session and lucidly explained his vision for the university that was ranked among top three in the State prior to getting the university status in December last year.

A bridge course was started to ensure seamless transition from the Intermediate stage to professional education. Students from all nine engineering programmes offered by the university – ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Civil, Biochemical, Bio Technology and Mechatronics – were curious to understand the depth and uniqueness of engineering studies.
