Vocational teachers threaten stir

SALEM: The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Schools Vocational Education Teachers Association has demanded time-scale pay to all vocational education teachers.

A resolution to this effect was passed at the general council meeting of Salem district unit of the association here on Sunday.
Benefits

They also demanded pension and other benefits.

Members threatened that they would resort to agitations from July 14 if the Education Ministry failed to call them for talks before July 13.
