Admissions

Eligibility Criteria

* A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
* Candidates with work experience will be given preference
* Candidates with a valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/ MAT/eLitmus pH score will be given a preference

Admission Procedure

* Final selection will be based on the academic profile, work experience and performance in group discussion and personal interview

Shortlisting Criteria
The next stage of the admission process is the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) candidates will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:

Work Experience Quality of work experience in terms of company worked, nature of job etc. 30 %
Academic Profile Academic performance from Class 10 to Graduation 30 %
GMAT/CAT/XAT/eLitmus pH Scores Scores in each section and overall test scores 25 %
Essays Statement of purpose 10%
Essay 2 5 %

Candidates would be assessed on the following parameters in the GD/PI:

Clarity of purpose and focus Clarity in terms of purpose behind pursuance of PGDM and expectations from the same
Listening and comprehending skills Attention to details, ability to listen and comprehend
Team dynamics Skills as a team player, managing a group
Ability to manage stress Response/reaction to situations which lead to stress
Communication and assertiveness Skills in effectively conveying ideas and thoughts, body language, confidence
Sensitivity to ethics and values Sense of fair play, thoughts regarding the same

The candidate will be rated on a four-point scale on all the six attributes with 1 being 'Excellent' and 4 being 'Poor'.

Admissions
Post the GD and PI, the first list of candidates will be announced based on results of all the stages mentioned above. Waitlisted student will also be informed of their status.

GD/PI process 8thJune -30th July 2009
Release of first and second list of students admitted to the programme 21st July 2009
Last date for payment of registration fee of Rs.100,000 for the first list of selected students (for Seat Confirmation) 26th July 2009
Acceptance of waitlisted candidates 1st Aug 2009
Last date for payment of registration fee of Rs.100,000 for the second list of selected students (for Seat Confirmation, upon intimation on 6th June) 5th Aug 2009
Completion of loan/fee collection process for waitlisted students 8th Aug 2009
