IGNOU courses at St. Joseph's College for Women

VISAKHAPATNAM: St. Joseph's College for Women, one of the first colleges in the city to be designated as Partner Institution of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), has been offering vocationally relevant courses.

The college combines the benefits of part-time, distance education with the infrastructural and human resources that are available to its regular full-time students, according to IGNOU Cell coordinator Suguna Kannan.

IGNOU certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate courses are offered by the college at reasonable rates and they include detailed study material aimed at self-learning. The college is in the process of admitting the third batch of students.

Applications can be had from the IGNOU Cell of the college from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all working days and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
