IIT graduates join HAL

Bangalore: Some 34 engineers from electronics, electrical, aeronautics and mechanical streams from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as design trainees on Monday.

This is the first time that HAL has inducted students from IITs and BITS Pilani. They were all selected through a rigorous campus recruitment campaign. The trainees will be posted at HAL's R&D centres after completing a mandatory 52-week training, said a press release.
