Free coaching classes for SET on August 16

MADURAI: Free coaching will be provided here to candidates appearing for State Eligibility Test (SET) for lectureship to be conducted by the Bharathiar University on August 16.

The free coaching will be given by the Madurai Kamaraj, Manonmaniam Sundaranar, Mother Teresa and Alagappa University Teachers' Association (MUTA) for 21 days.

Coaching classes will be conducted in the evening times, according to a press release from S. Vivekanandan, MUTA general Secretary.

Teachers working in self-financing colleges will be given preference in the admission for free coaching classes, he said.

Study material will be provided at a minimum cost of Rs.400.
