IGNOU launches new course

NEW DELHI: The School of Gender and Development Studies at Indira Gandhi National Open University here will launch a Master's programme in

gender and development studies in face-to-face lecture mode (classroom teaching) beginning July. According to School director Savita Singh, the

Master's degree can be completed in a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years. Students will also have the option of earning a

post-graduate diploma after successful completion of the first year course.
