Varsity B.Com. results out

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The University of Kerala on Thursday published the results of the final year B.Com. examinations of March/April 2009. The pass percentage is 28.42.

The first rank went to K.V. Mahalakshmi of the Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, second rank to G. Jayakrishna Pai of the SD College, Alappuzha, and third rank to Sarah Ittymani of the Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Of the 12,889 candidates who registered for the examinations, 11,581, took it.

While 617 candidates secured a first class, 985 secured second class and 1,690, a third class.

The mark lists would be sent to the respective examination centres before July 15 and additional mark lists would be issued only after this date.

Applications for revaluation and/or scrutiny of answer sheets should be submitted on or before June 25, a press note issued by the university said.
