GITAM starts course in international finance

VISAKHAPATNAM: Responding to international developments and the global expansion of business opportunities and practices, GITAM University is starting a new course in international finance.

This new course, designed by GITAM Institute of Management and the University of Glasgow (UK), is M.Sc. (management) in international finance. M.Sc (management) is a 12-month full-time programme involving outdoor challenges and cross-cultural team building. Classroom lectures are supported by a workshop programme, reflective learning exercises-including induction events, investigative drama workshops, strategic case analyses, business ethics, debate and career development sessions, GITAM spokesman said.The major electives in this course are social accounting, reporting and finance, international capital markets, international banking and financial markets globalisation of international banking and finance, IMF, World Bank and economic growth, entrepreneurial finance. According to GITAM Institute of Management Principal K. Sivarama Krishna, students with first class at degree level are eligible to join in this course. The spot admissions process will begin from Thursday.
