Kodaikanal Christian College is the first Arts and Science College that was set up in Kodaikanal, by the House of Abrahams Charitable Trust. Kodaikanal Christian College started its journey on October 12, 1994 as a self-funded college that offers 5 undergraduate courses. Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Kodaikanal Christian College gained the status of a postgraduate college in 1997.

Located on the majestic hills of Kodaikanal, `Paradise Hill`, almost 10km away from the town of Kodaikanal, the College has a picturesque campus that offers a panoramic view of the peaks and curves all the way down to the plains, about seven thousand feet below. This is an ideal seat of learning that promises academic excellence, highlighted in its demanding programmes that are supported by its team of efficient and qualified faculty members.

Courses are offered both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These are- B.Com CA, BBA, BCA, B.Sc CS, B.Sc in HMCS (hotel management and catering). Master of Foreign Trade, Master of Social Work, M.Sc. in IT & CS, M.Sc. in B& IT are the postgraduate courses offered by Kodaikanal Christian College. Training programmes for competitive examinations like TOEFL, GMAT and GRE are also organised. A Youth Parliament in the college offers students to take part and develop their communication skills and prowess to conduct debate and research.

Kodaikanal Christian College houses School of Business and Management Studies, School of Computer Science & Information Technology, School of Hotel Management & Catering Science, The School of Social Work, Department of English, Department of French, Department of Mathematics & Electronics, School of Music and Department of Physical Education.

Through out the year workshops, guidance programmes and forums prove to be beneficial for students and help them to overcome difficulties in the field of academics. Renowned guest lecturers are invited on a regular basis and also help them through their suggestions and advices. Kodaikanal Christian College also organises personal counselling to deal with various personal problems of the students.

Apart from education, Kodaikanal Christian College makes it a point to nurture and develop the individuality of students at large. Towards achieving such goals, extra-curricular activities are vital. Cultural programmes like Knackfete, Food Festival, Shristi, Magnafest are organised, with active participation of students. Various associations have been formed in this regard, like- Caldwell Tamil Association, Wordsworth English Club, Youth Parliament, Nature Club, National Service Scheme (NSS), Cater Squad (Hotel Management), Tribal Service, Students Welfare Society, Chosen Generation (Spiritual), Trekking, Rotoract Club.
