NGO donates learning aid

Bannari Rural Foundation, a non-government organisation, has donated learning materials to 550 school students.

A release from BRF says it distributed notebooks, stationery items and other learning accessories through the Parent-Teacher Associations of seven panchayat union primary and middle schools in Kadambur Hills.

The BRF distributed the articles at a function organised recently in the presence of M.P. Vijayakumar, honorary advisor, Sarva Siksha Abiyan, Government of Tamil Nadu, S. Ramasubramaniam, divisional forest officer, Sathyamangalam and others.

Chief Education Officer Pon. Kumar also participated in the function and highlighted the benefits the students had gained from the implementation of activity-based learning and advanced learning methodology. Senior officials from BRF, Education Department participated.
