Wipro to hold job fest on Thursday

BELLARY: Wipro BPO, Mumbai, in association with the local Veerashaiva College, will be organising a job fest on June 18 at the open hall of the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

All sixth semester students and also those who have completed their degree between the age group of 18 to 45 are eligible to participate in the job fest to get placements at the BPOs run by Wipro in various cities in the country.

Praveen Kamat, associate vice-president Wipro (southern region), told presspersons that the company planned to recruit around 12,000 to 15,000 youths during the current year. Last year, the company recruited 17,500 youths.
