UK universities to make spot admissions

CHENNAI: Representatives from top UK universities are scheduled to visit the Chennai Office of CampusUK, a British education consultancy, for meeting students aspiring to pursue higher education in the UK and to make spot admissions.

Michael Green, International Officer, University of Leicester, is arriving on June 8 and will meet candidates between 1 pm and 6.30 pm. The university is one of the top-ranking universities in the UK and offers spot admissions on various courses.

Owain Llwyd, International Officer, Bangor University will be here on June 9 between 10.30 am and 5.00 pm. The university offers good scholarships to international students.

Josie Pilcher International Officer (India & S.E. Asia), Peter King from School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences and Heriot Watt University are slated to be here on June 11 between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm.

Mike Buckle from the Business School of Swansea University is visiting on June 13 to offer spot admissions to MBA and management-related courses.

The university also offers courses in various engineering (Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Aerospace, Nanotechnology, Communications etc.), Law, Social Work related areas.

Helen H. C. McKeag, International Officer, University of Dundee visits on June 15 between 2.30 pm and 6.00 pm for the Civil and Structural Engineering programme, International Business, Petroleum Engineering.

Sally-Anne Awcock, International Officer, University of Wales, Newport, is here on June 16 between 1.00 pm and 6.30 pm, while Susan O'Neil, International Officer, Glasgow Caledonian University visits on June 21.

Students can utilise the opportunity to meet the university representatives to get spot admissions and doubts cleared.
