Aeronautical studies in Russia have become the buzzword for many Indian students who want to pursue higher education.

This is the version one can derive from the many number of students who have registered for the course at the higher education cell at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. While last year the Centre celebrated the Russia in India year, 2009 is the year of India in Russia.

Russia has one of the most advanced yet affordable universities in the world, facilitated by highly qualified scientists and professors, said Alexey N Sergeyev, Deputy Dean for Foreign Students. unlike other countries, there are no pre-qualifying exams like CET, IELTS, for admissions to Russia. The admissions are based on the 12th standard marks for the bachelor degree programme.
