Training for headmasters

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A two-day management training programme for headmasters of schools across the State will be organised by the State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT).

The two-day non-residential programme will be held in batches of 40, under the respective district educational officers and sub-district educational officers from May 20. The training programme is intended to provide the necessary academic and administrative information to heads of institutions apart from training them on how to plan and co-ordinate various school-level activities.

A separate training for the State Resource Group, in connection with the forthcoming non-residential programme, will begin here on Thursday. All members of the District Institute for Educational Training, Programme Officers of the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and sub-district Educational Officer are requested to take part in the training.
