VSU declares results

NELLORE: Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) Vice-Chancellor C.R. Visweswara Rao released the results of first semester, first batch students of the university on Thursday.

Releasing the CDs of the results to the media at a press conference here, the V-C said besides regular staff the university management arranged guest faculty from Mysore, Andhra University, Sri Venkateswara, Acharya Nagarjuna, Sri Padmavathi Mahila, Hyderabad Universities. Many students secured commendable marks in the first semester.

The university is planning to enter into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Krishnapatnam Port, Reliance Industries and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for arranging project work for the students, he said.

The university is offering six courses including MBA, MCA, M.A (English), MSc (Marine Biology), MSc (Organic Chemistry) and Master of Social Work. The management is launching two more new courses -- five-year integrated course in Bio-technology and Master of Travel and Tourism management – from this year, said the V-C.
