$100 SkyNote Alpha 680Android Netbook to surface Soon

Many manufacturers are loitering over the netbook terrain to fulfill the internet access criterion for travelers. China-based SkyNote is another company who have apparently forayed in this segment with a new netbook that is powered by Google's own Android operating system.

In words of Electronista, SkyNote, a Chinese company that is primarily known for producing Skype headsets, is developing a netbook that will support Android platform. To be called as Alpha 680, it is considered to be a larger smartphone-class device.

The rumored features include a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
