Indira Gandhi National Open University School of Management Studies counducts OPENMAT examination twice a year for admission into the following programs offered by the University through its study centers and regional centers all over India

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Diploma in Management (DIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

About the Entrance Test

You will be given a test booklet containing 200 objective type multiple choice questions and a specifically designed OMR response sheet in the Examination hall. You will notice from the sample test paper that it is different from the usual School/College examinations. It is, therefore, necessary for you to know in advance about the type of questions and the way in which you are required to answer them. This handout will help you in this respect.

The type of tests which will be used in this OPENMAT (ENTRANCE TEST) are given below:

Test III    Quantitative Aptitude            50    50     Composite Time of Three Hours

All the above four tests will be given in a composite test booklet which will be printed in English.

You will be given composite time of three hours to answer 200 questions. You may attempt the test in any order you like.

Since the questions in the test Booklet are objective type, answers are not required to be written in words or sentences.

For each question, there are four answer choices suggested and only one of them is right.

You have to select the right answer from amongst the given answers. In case you find that none of the four alternatives is correct, you have to mark 'O'.
