Kalasalingam varsity signs MoU with German institute

MADURAI: In an effort to promote mutual acceptance and advancement of knowledge and to disseminate knowledge pertaining to nanoscience, nanotechnology and its applications, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Centre for Nanotechnology, Kalasalingam University, Krishnankoil, and INM Leibniz-Institute for New Materials gGmbH, Saalford University, Germany.

Both the institutions have entered into a formal statement of collaboration which would be mutually beneficial to explore cooperative activities in nanotechnology.

The signatories, according to a press release, believe that the MoU would promote collaborative academic and industrial research activities and support industrial and academic projects that include exchange of ideas and facilities.

Exchange of visiting scholars for the mutual enrichment of knowledge and exchange of technical know how through men, material and instruments would be facilitated. Intellectuals and scholars representing industry and academy from both Germany and India would be invited to conduct seminars and meetings.
