Aptech, varsity tie up for degree course in animation

CHENNAI: Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and Arena Animation have joined hands to offer a three-year degree programme in Multimedia and Animation.

The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the venture in Chennai on Thursday.

"It is the best of both worlds for students," said Ninad Karpe, chief executive and managing director, Aptech, the parent company of Arena Animation. "They will get a holistic education – both industry-relevant technical training and a university degree."
