Salary & Govt. Concessions for a Member of Parliament (MP)

Monthly Salary : 12,000

Expense for Constitution per month : 10,000

Office expenditure per month : 14,000

Traveling concession (Rs. 8 per km) : 48,000 ( eg.For a visit from kerala to Delhi & return: 6000 km)

Daily DA TA during parliament meets : 500/day

Charge for 1 class (A/C) in train: Free (For any number of times)
(All over India )

Charge for Business Class in flights : Free for 40 trips / year (With wife or P.A.)

Rent for MP hostel at Delhi : Free

Electricity costs at home : Free up to 50,000 units

Local phone call charge : Free up to 1 ,70,000 calls.

TOTAL expense for a MP [having no qualification] per year : 32,00,000 [i.e . 2.66 lakh/month]

TOTAL expense for 5 years : 1,60,00,000



For 534 MPs, the expense for 5 years :
8,54,40,00,000 (nearly 855 crores)


AND THE PRIME MINISTER IS ASKING THE HIGHLY QUALIFIED, OUT PERFORMING CEOs TO CUT DOWN THEIR SALARIES..


This is how all our tax money is been swallowed and price hike on our regular commodities........

Its a good eye opening message to everyone.

Yes i agree to give all Parliament members as proposed concession, if a software engineer is getting salary than his qualification.

Software Gaint's develope software tools.

A Software Engineer uses different tools, to give imagination for his companies dream project.

As such, Parliament and Government were been developed from olden days.

Working in Parliament, is nothing but a full time maintenance and foundation works for the public.

Why could not they have this small concession when compared to the salary of all software professionals.

Yes Poor will be always poor.   :confused

Consider, we heard a recent story of a small child who acted in slumdog millionaire had a problem.

His father tried to sale the girl for an london company for 2.5 lakhs or crores i hope.

Televisions were telecasting the live fight between the girls two mothers.

So poors will always be poor over the world.

yes I agree you............ what the govt proposed concession is right.....

but what the use of that, whit this MPs... (im not willing to talk about politics....)



According to the report: none of these MPs attended parliament for more than 20 percent of its 34 sittings in 2007. The sittings were held over 64 days in two sessions.

Bollywood star and Mumbai North MP Govinda did not attend the Lok Sabha at all during the period the NSW researched the proceedings in 2007.

Dharmendra, the Hindi movie hero of yesteryears, did not ask a single question or participate in any debate. The attendance percentage of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bikaner was a dismal 1.5.

His wife, actor-dancer Hema Malini, a nominated Rajya Sabha member from the BJP, fared better with 10 percent attendance. She asked 179 questions and participated in the upper house debates 15 times, but her questions formed only 0.78 percent of the total raised.

Liquor baron Vijay Mallya's attendance was 7 percent.

Dara Singh's zero participation in debates and 14 percent attendance.

the state  government has changed to develop more in india

modi is good pm to india
