FTII entrance on May 3

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune, under the Government of India, has invited applications for an entrance examination for admission to the following programmes. The test will be held on May 3 at Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, New Delhi and so on.

•PG Diploma in Direction: 3 years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

•PG Diploma in Cinematography: 3 years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

•PG Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design: 3 years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree with physics as a subject at 10+2 level.

•PG Diploma in Editing: 3 years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

•PG Diploma in Acting: 2 years, 23 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

•PG Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design: 2 years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in architecture, painting, applied arts sculpture, interior design or related fields in fine arts or equivalent diploma. •Certificate course in animation and computer graphics: one-and-a-half years, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Plus Two or equivalent. Preference will be given to diploma holder in fine arts. •Certificate course in feature films screen play writing: 1 year, 12 seats. Entry qualification is Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
