Teachers' college golden jubilee fete today

BANGALORE: M.E.S. Teachers' College, established in 1958 under the aegis of Mysore Education Society, Malleswaram, has achieved another milestone having completed 50 years of service in imparting quality teacher training.

The institution believes that a good education is the basic foundation required to produce worthy and dynamic citizens, who can contribute well to the progress of the nation and the world at large.

Through its academic training, the college aims at inculcating lofty ideals such as virtues of industry, self-sacrifice, service, honesty, godliness and the ideals handed over to by the forefathers on the precious cultural heritage of this great land.

The institution has been assessed and bestowed with Grade 'A' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, (NAAC) Bangalore. The golden jubilee celebrations will be inaugurated by Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman G. Madhavan Nair on Thursday.

The valedictory function will be held in October.
