Opera brings Version 9.7 of its mobile browser

Opera has shown off the update version of its mobile browser, Version 9.7. The new browser will offer faster download speeds and improved performance, as cited by reports.

The new enhanced version of Opera mobile browser will offer users a high-quality, rich Internet experience regardless of network connectivity. It will take advantage of company's server-side compression technology to offer quick Internet access. The mobile browser will also support technologies like Ajax and Flash.

Opera Mobile 9.7 will be capable of hardware acceleration, and will be compatible with Google Gears. It will be officially released during the CTIA Wireless Show.

Opera is feeling the competition heat with mobile browsers like Safari, Mobile IE and also Mobile Firefox is also in the row.
