84th College Day at Loyola

Loyola College celebrated its 84th College Day on Tuesday, where Principal Fr Albert Muthumalai recounted the achievements of the college in the past academic year.

The Chief Guest G Sundaramurthi IAS, collector, Tiruvallur district, recounted his days in the college and delivered an anecdotal speech that inspired students to motivate themselves to achieve their goals.

He even narrated his personal experiences in the college.

He spent several hours in the Bertram Library under the very Hall from where he was delivering the speech on Saturday. He mentioned how he did not purchase a single book during his college years and sourced all materials form the library itself.

Rev Fr K Amal, SJ, the rector and Rev Dr Peter Xavier SJ, secretary of Loyola College, honoured the chief guest.
