Sony Ericsson W660 Walkman Phone

The Sony Ericsson W660 has looks to die for with gold trimming and the Rose Red version seems more targeted at the ladies due to the ornamented back. Feature-wise the device is almost identical to the Sony Ericsson W610. The only differences are that the W660 has 3G telephony support while the W610 doesn't. On the other hand the W660 doesn't have auto focus camera and doesn't have EDGE support. The Sony Ericsson W660 will be shipped with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro card much like the W610.

The 3G-enabled device closely resembles the already announced W610 and follows the recent design trend of the manufacturer. There's only the difference of the 3G or else these two are identical twins. This latest addition follows the Sony's style and design trend. One thing is sure Sony is taking mobile phones to a new height. Mobiles are now not only a calling gadget but they have become a style statement, a multitasking device and a designer piece. This phone has every quality to become a signature collection of Sony Ericsson.

This gadget is now available in two luscious colors, black and rose red. The phone colors are complimented by the gold trimming. Just give it a look and you can understand how a gadget like cell phone can be such adorning jewel. But, yeah, this phone is really an eye candy. Especially the rose red with gold trimming set, it won my heart. This particular model is designed for the women as the back cover is adorned with a typical feminine design.

Sony Ericsson is all set to woo women with its new W660 walkman phone. Girls too love music guys. Most phone makers forget to keep this in mind while making the music phones. But Sony Ericsson is awakened to the fact and has made a walkman phone which has got looks to kill. We say it's made for girls because it is stylish and good looking apart from being a walkman phone. With the attractive red and gold casing the phone looks stunning and delicate which men can not handle. Half of the plastic rear panel has flower engravings which men will hate.

Going to the music side of the Sony Ericsson W660 it is more a MP3 player then a phone. The handset flashes external music control on both the gold colour sides. You may little disappointed with the sound of its external speaker but as it's is the walkman phone it has the earphones which takes you to the world of music instantly. Sony Ericsson provides one of the best earphones available in the market with the handset.

Yet another addition to the ever growing series of "Walkman" phones, the Sony Ericsson W660i is a lightweight 3G phone with a 2" 176x220 pixel display, a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, video calling, stereo Bluetooth, MP3 player, a bundled 512MB memory stick, an FM radio and all the familiar multimedia software that we've seen bundled with many other recent "Walkman" handsets.

One interesting addition is the optional MPS-75 snap-on speaker set that connects directly to the Fast Port Connector and comes with an integrated FM antenna. The MPS-75 is powered directly by the phone, so no additional cabling is required. Sony Ericsson says that the W660i should be available in Record Black and Rose Red color combinations.
