AUCET from May 16

VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET)-2009 will commence on May 16.

Admission to various undergraduate, post-graduate courses, five-year integrated programmes, double degree programmes, twinning programmes and PG diploma courses will be done based on the rank obtained in the AUCET 2009, Director of AU Directorate of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar informed here on Thursday.

The sale of applications would commence on Friday and the last date for submitting filled in application forms along with the fee is April 7.

Applications would be accepted till April 14 with a late fee of Rs. 500 and April 23 with a late fee of Rs. 1,000.

Application form along with information brochure costing Rs. 275 can be had from offices of Principal of campus colleges; Special Officer of AU PG Centre in Kakinada and the Coordinators of the Distance Education Study Centres at Government College for Men, Srikakulam; Govt. College, Rajahmundry; Sir CRR College, Eluru; Prabhas Degree College, Kedareswarapeta, Vijayawada, and AC College, Guntur, according to Prof. Aniel Kumar.

Applications can also be received by post by sending a demand draft for Rs. 325, drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of 'The Director, Directorate of Admissions' and payable at Visakhapatnam.
