Business Communications Technology Blog Designed to Provide Insight into the Contact Center, Enterprise IP Telephony, and Enterprise Messaging Markets

Interactive Intelligence  has launched an "Insights into Unified IP Business Communications" blog. The blog, written by a group of Interactive Intelligence technology and market specialists, includes categories for "Best Practices," "Contact Center," "Enterprise IP Telephony," "Enterprise Messaging," "Market Trends and News," and "Tech-speak."

Blog entries are educational in nature and designed for contact center managers, IT directors, CIO's, and other professionals involved in communications technology, including industry analysts, consultants, journalists, and other bloggers.

"Our blog goal is simple: to provide useful business communications technology information and insight readers will find valuable," said Interactive Intelligence senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Joe Staples. "Our business communications bloggers will cover industry issues and trends, and share what they've learned about best practices based on their collective involvement in thousands of customer deployments worldwide. And our tech-speak posts will do just that: led by bloggers who actually develop software, they will help demystify the technologies customers most commonly struggle with."

With an average 16 years of communications technology experience each, the collective Interactive Intelligence "Blog Crew" provides expertise about a multitude of topics, such as session initiation protocol (SIP), outbound dialing, multichannel quality monitoring, softphones, unified messaging, presence management, and more. The Blog Crew can also field questions about the application and use of these business communications technologies, with many members able to draw on previous experience working as contact center supervisors, IT managers, and consultants.

"Bottom line is we hope our experience working every day developing and deploying communications technology will provide unique value to readers and encourage the kind of two-way dialogue that, in turn, provides unique value to us," Staples said.
