Indian Students facilities in America - for Higher studies and JOBS

Huge percentages the working populous in the USA are Indians. This is not surprising as USA spells professionalism, security and opportunity. Despite its prosperous economy and almost nil unemployment rate, the US faces is falling short of qualified professionals to meet the demands of its ever-expanding high tech industry.

The workforce admitted into the US comprises of those who are specialized in any professional discipline or those who have a substantial and good job experience. Currently the trend is to recruit more manpower from the Indian sub-continent, as it is abundant in skilled professionals and cheap manpower. Depending upon the type of visa issued a person can either remain or travel continuously in the US.

One can expect a high degree of professionalism in the work scenario in the US. In order to work in the US one must obtain a Labour Certification stating:

There are no qualified workers in the US able and willing to work.
Working conditions and remuneration of similarly employed US workers will not be adversely affected by the applicant's employment.

Employment for Students

Normally students are permitted to work in an on-campus job for a maximum of 20 hours per week when the school is in session. During vacation the student can take up full time employment on campus. For a student to work on campus no special work permission is required to be obtained by the INS. However, for any kind of employment outside the campus INS permission needs to be sought.

wats the point, you"ll be making around 170 a week, minus 24% (tax)  :D (only if you r very lucky you may get a job on campus, coz. IS dont get any kind of federal money, only university itself can give checks from its budged, so good luck on this one, makesure you findout this one before add.  :yes) [this one for undergrads]

90% grads may get job on campus, but citizens, are at highest propriety, nd not to mention you must be geeks, inorder to get this facility GPA should be >3.0 or no chances,  :laugh:

canada is good if you want to get or BUY education, atleast you would have a life.
