Periyar University exam results released

SALEM: The results of the examinations held during November/December 2008 for the first year Under Graduate and Post Graduate Arts and Science courses of Periyar University were released on Wednesday.

A press release that was issued here by the Controller of Examinations of the University says that the results can be accessed at www. periyarresults.org.in and www. periyaruniversity.ac.in

The candidates are eligible to apply for re-valuation and re-totalling, according to the press release. In addition to this, they can also obtain photo copies of their answer scripts. The application forms along with the required fees should be sent through the principals of the respective colleges in which the students study so as to reach the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Periyar University within 10 days from the date of publication of results.

It further says that the prescribed fee for revaluation is Rs. 250 and for photo copy of the answer sheet, Rs. 250. The University charges Rs. 200 for re-totalling. The Post Graduate candidates admitted from 2006-1007 onwards are not eligible to apply for revaluation and re-totalling, it adds.
