42 teaching posts sanctioned for VSU

NELLORE: AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) chairman K.C. Reddy has said the government has sanctioned 42 new faculty posts for Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU).

Prof. Reddy, who was here to attend a private programme on Sunday, visited the administrative building of the university which was inaugurated a few days ago. He reviewed the progress of the university and complimented the management and staff for conducting the first semester examinations for first batch students in the new university.

VSU vice-chancellor C.R. Visweswara Rao and registrar V.Narayana Reddy explained the plans of the management for introducing new courses in the institution in the coming years. The APSCHE chairman said the government is keen on developing the new universities in the State.
