'Teachers should guide students'

Kozhikode: The onus is on teachers to prepare new generations to take up the challenges of the changing times while ensuring that they imbibe traditional values, Muslim League State president Panakkad Syed Muhammedali Shihab Thangal has said.

He was inaugurating the State conference of the Kerala State Teachers Union (KSTU) here on Monday. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice-Chancellor P.K. Abdul Aseez hoped that the an AMU centre would come up in Malappuram soon.
