Apply for the DR. K.S.Krishnan Research Associateship program


All research associates have the opportunity to work for R&D programs under the DR. K.S.Krishnan Research Associateship program. This is the 19th batch, who will join as research associates. This prestigious research program helps in pursuing a program, which is of national importance.

The interested individual can apply at the advanced research centers of Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Mumbai, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Calcutta and Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Mumbai.

Every year up to 20 KSKRAs are selected and are paid Rs. 20,000 as stipends and additional benefits for a maximum period of 2 years. The application for the associateship can be done on various subjects, which include chemical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, structural engineering, electronics science, physical sciences, chemical sciences, radiation sciences, environmental sciences, life sciences, medical sciences, agricultural sciences and materials science.

There are several opportunities for those who are practicing research associateship.

For application, send in your application to Deputy Establishment Officer (R-IV), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, 4th floor, Central Complex, Trombay, Mumbai-400085 by registered post. The application will be received all through the year. Along with the application form, produce photocopies of the duly attested copies of degree certificates and mark sheets. Proof of birth and 3 envelopes with complete address are also required for the application.
