School of fashion inaugurated

Tirupur: Vice-Chancellor of Anna University-Coimbatore R. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the school of fashion established by Tirupur Industrial Federation, here on Thursday.

D. Dhandapani, Deputy Director of Textiles Committee, said that the school was set up with an aim to produce more skilled designers for different segments of the textile manufacturing since designing plays a pivotal role in giving value-addition to the apparel.
