Competitions for children
VISAKHAPATNAM: District Bal Bhavan will conduct competitions for children in the city on Sunday in connection with the Republic Day.

A fancy dress competition will be conducted for sub-juniors (class I to III) and juniors (class IV to VII) at 10 a.m. on January 25. Children should attend the competition in make-up.

Similarly, light music competitions will be organised for sub-juniors, juniors and also seniors (class VIII to X) at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Singing of film songs will not be allowed in the contest.

A painting competition will be held for all the three categories on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Only drawing sheet will be provided, while pads and colours etc., should be brought by the contestants.

All the competitions will be held at District Bal Bhavan premises on the Second Floor of Gurazada Kalakshetram in Siripuram (Phone: 2509629) and further particulars can be had from the organisers.
