Online registration of passport applications

TIRUNELVELI: Residents of the district can now register their passport applications online from January 1 onwards.

According to Collector G. Prakash, 'Online Registration' system is to be extended to the district from January 1 onwards with the objective of expediting the process of getting the passport.

Hence, the public can register their applications at www.passport.gov.in or www.passport.nic.in and submit the form with all necessary documents in the passport section functioning on the Collectorate premises, he noted.
