MYSORE: The Union Ministry of Textiles has sanctioned a project to the department of jewellery design and training (JD and T) of the JSS Polytechnic for the Physically Handicapped, here, under the component training through established institutions under the "Human resource development scheme for the skill upgradation of jewellery artisans".

Training programmes in jewellery casting, manufacturing (basic), stone setting, integrated jewellery designing and manufacturing, jewellery designing (manual) and jewellery designing (CAD) will be conducted free of cost for artisans. he artisans will be give stipend as specified by the Government, a press release said.For details and registration contact the Principal or the Head of the Department of JD and T, JSS Polytechnic for the Physically Handicapped.
