The Indian Bank on Wednesday opened its 1,581st branch at Nagamalai-Pudukottai. R. Karpaga Kumaravel, Vice-Chancellor, Madurai Kamaraj University, declared open the branch in the presence of A. Subramanian, Executive Director, Indian Bank, M. Kathiresan, Deputy General Manager, and S. Anandaraman, Assistant General Manager, Madurai Circle.

The branch was the 17th one with core banking solution facility in Madurai City, according to a bank press release.
