No lay-offs, no matter how bad it gets, assures HCL Tech

HCL Technologies (HCLTECH.NS), one of India's leading Information Technology firm, will not fire its employees even if the economic situation gets worse over the coming months, the company's chief executive officer told Hindustan Times. The company, like other corporates is cutting costs through other 0measures like reducing transport and electricity bills amongst others.

"We have not and will not lay off no matter how bad it gets, even if recessionary trends get worse," said Vineet Nayar, CEO, HCL Technologies. HCL Technologies employs around 55,000 employs across 19 countries. Nayar said that the company's hiring plans were on track but declined to put a number to the target. On expected salary hikes for financial year 2010, Nayar said that the company will take a decision around June next year.

"We will take a decision around June and expect that most of the bad news will be behind us by then," said Nayar. "We will cut costs from all corners, through better utilisation of electricity, reducing cycle time from desire to implement of a project, controlling transportation and vendor bills," he said. He declined to comment on how much the company is likely to save through these initiatives.

So you mean, all the industry people were wasting the time - Roaming here and there ,wasting company resources from Napkin to coffee. 
So what does the company Ip Camera's do. 

Is this tapping(capturing) all actions on Companies. So let them have a speaker and inform him at the moment to sit in there places and don't roam very often.   

But this is not applicable for companies who say " Freedom Based on Trust " and hiding the camera's on the walls. 

Because if they telecast or warn them, the employees will understand that the camera is still there even though the slogan says " Freedom based on Trust ".

am talking about the majority people in the concern roaming unwantedly here and there for lot of stupid matters and wasting time as

well as the company resources.. for this company paying..these activities are doing only by experienced people..freshers will not do, bcz

they want to stick atleast for 2 years in the concern and if the people having more than 5 years of exp will not do this..bcz they are

know the value of resources and time.


these stupid actions are doing only b 2 - 3 exp people.. and the company caption is freedom based on trust,..then wat purpose they are

placing the camera..so they dont have enough confidence on employees..

freedom based on trust is only in the work and confidence not for the stupid actions doing in and around the company during the office hours...

so, we are expecting more layoffs in these companies and need only the stuff people..

NO Comments, i live happily in my company. Small , so no camera.

See in any Government office, is there any issues. 

But why do software people have time to take rest.

If they have time, they will watch a girl and vice verse.

They will catch the party's friendship by showing some heroic action like Useless Villu Tamil Movie Hero Vijay.

The Girl started liking the useless employee.

They will share there contact numbers by saying doubt sharing.

Finally a New Love Story Starts on Software company.

But think outside the company Both IT Company boy's real wife will be waiting out and the IT Company Girl's Real Boy Friend will wait out to pick her on time.

Hope there already have a good family and spouse to Care them. 

On IT Industry Everything grows like a tree on Road, which Creates a Huge Traffic and issue on their family. 

Final step will be Suicide of both IT employees, the person who reads that news in paper. Will throw the paper and go to IT Job , since he had experiencing the same wrong relationship on his IT Office now. 

Do Shut Down all the IT companies, be warned not to give them even cow dung collecting jobs. Or they will even spoil the cows life.

There is not much difference between IT Industry and IT communities,

The hero and heroins who does not talk boldly, will choose IT communities for someone. 

For Example, An Hotel employee asking 10 rupee tips for 90 rs bill for the entire family.

Since they are practiced to get 20. Rs as a tips, for servicing an IT Professional in hotels.
