IEEE silver jubilee

MALAPPURAM: MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, will host the silver jubilee celebrations of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Kerala Chapter, on Saturday and Sunday. Thomas Philip, principal general manager of BSNL, Thrissur, will inaugurate the celebrations on Saturday morning. V.B. Lal, head of Simulation, Integration and Checkout Division at the VSSC, will speak on 'launch vehicle stimulation'. A gathering of the IEEE alumni will be the key event on Sunday. A non-profit organisation, IEEE is one of the world's leading associations for the advancement of technology.
