Free training programme

Rajahmundry: The GMR Polytechnic, Bommuru would give short duration free tainting to unemployed under Rajiv Udyoga Sri programme, said principal G.V.V. Ramavathi. In a statement on Tuesday, she said that training in computer hardware, TV repairing, carpentry, motor mechanic, refrigeration and air conditioning and in plumbing would be given for men and weaving, soft toys preparation, painting and beautician courses for women would be imparted under this programme.

She said that candidates should pass 10th class for motor mechanic, refrigeration and TV repairing, for computer hardware 8th class is enough and 7th class is eligibility for carpentry.

For courses meant for women 7th class is the eligibility, she added.

Eligible candidates can send their applications to the Principal, Dr. B.R. GMR Polytechnic, Bommuru on or before 18th of this month.
