Alcatel-Lucent (Euro next Paris and NYSE: ALU)today announced that Dialog Telecom, one of the leading alternative telecommunication operators in Poland, has selected Alcatel-Lucent's convergent payment solution for its Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) services.

The Alcatel-Lucent 8610 Instant Convergent Charging Suite (ICC), based on the Open Services Platform, will give Dialog the capacity to expand its convergent service offering with mobile prepaid and post-paid services. Alcatel-Lucent will also integrate the platform with the core network of a mobile network operator, acting as a host for Dialog's mobile services, as Dialog, a virtual operator, doesn't own a network.
